Grains
Low Sodium Crackers
Goldfish
Bread (Sandwiches)
Plain pasta
Rice (Brown is better than White!!)
Dry cereal (Cheerios, Chex, Crisp-X and other choices along that line are great!)
SUPER-MOM TIP: Rice is also a great place to sneak in those veggie's! "Fried" Rice sounds more appealing than "Brown" rice but, that doesn't mean it has to be fried!!

Treats
Try your hardest to sneak in healthy treats whenever you can! Giving real fruit Fruit snacks as a treat at home will make it seem more appealing as a treat at lunch. Same with fun things like Go-gurt, Fruit with yummy yogurt dip and Graham crackers in fun shapes are all great choices! If a treat is a cookie or candy try for smaller portions. The Fun-Sized bags and pieces of candy, a couple Nutter Butter's or one Oreo is okay. Homemade treats are always the best because you know exactly what you're giving to your child!
